An amazing collection of artifacts and sculpture, an oh so chic apartment, a stunning Eiffel Tower view and not one but eight de rigueur Chandigarh Chairs by Pierre Jeanneret. Serious case of envy on my part. I wish I was the collector who lives in this stylish abode. Appartement Rivoli by CSLB Studio.

While I anxiously await the project that never seems like it is going to happen (the creation of a library in my third floor unused space), I can only hold back pangs of jealousy when I come across projects like this by Sophie Lallias of Atelier Sofi(A). She created a bedroom and library and left a narrow staircase to access the rest of the apartment. 3.5 metre high bookcases allow for maximum use of a very small space and the result is TONS of book storage, a workspace and a cozy bedroom. (That’s Farrow& Ball’s Tessela wallpaper in the hallway and Cole & Sons Woods & Stars in the bedroom…and these photos are by Benoit Alazard)

Haussmannian architecture, signature furniture pieces and a foyer now converted to a library full of books. Just about ticks all the boxes for my perfect Paris apartment. I think I’ll be moving in to this Alma Marceau residence by Studio CMP.
Have I told you how much i love a loft? The soaring ceilings, the open plan living, the industrial vibe. Add a wall of books,a scattering of colourful rugs and a fabulous collection of personal pieces and I want to move right in. Ah Maximalism! Never having to say no to surrounding yourself with what you love. Art, pottery, books and the collections, from treasures to not so mundane mementoes like the remnants of a modern day Grand Tour. It should be chaos but instead this 900 sq ft apartment in Gramercy Park, NY is a celebration of its owner. Design largesse by Alexandra Loew.
