I’m looking for garden inspiration at the moment and this stone fire pit anchored by a water feature is just what I’m looking for. The old weathered stone softened by lush informal greenery and the stillness of the water broken only by goldfish draws you down into this quiet spot in the garden. Yesterday I found myself down a rabbit hole of castles for sale and spotted this beauty in Bouquetot, Normandy. The landscaping is exquisite, and for a change the interior is actually quite beautifully decorated. I could totally get behind barn living if it looked like this. Hubert Zandberg tackled the design of this contemporary barn renovation in Buckinghamshire and the bucolic setting and details of the architecture really add character and make this home so welcoming and relaxed.
