Float with me down the stairs or across the garden paths. Stay awhile by the fire pit or share a drink with friends in the convivial courtyard. Feathery grasses float and simple columns of trees reach towards the sky. A stylish, contemporary garden with a hint of mid century by Nashville-based Daigh Rick Landscape Architects.

I’m still real estate strolling scrolling in the Sydney suburb of Randwick and I’ve found a stylish semi-detached home with an open plan, contemporary extension. The video will definitely help you fall in love with this inner city home just minutes from the beach. Love the light that flows into the living areas, the long horizontal window, the small but well formed courtyard garden. Link here while it lasts.

My sister sent me a rare photo with all 3 of her cats in it. Zoe, Spencer and Carl chilling in her living room.

Some from me. Mimin sitting on the bills I needed to pay. Semi-feral Bernie watching for birds in the dining room window. Semi-feral Frankie sunning himself on my desk.

And from me: I caught Lucky mid-yawn on the sectional in our media room. Phoebe isn’t on but under the furniture, but maybe if I post this it will help get my new sofa here faster ;). And not furniture but I had to share because it’s too cute how Frankie lays like this in the catio when it’s hot outside. (Also, my IG stories often have cat snaps if you’re interested in seeing life with a slew of cats)

A little dose of traditional grandeur on this lovely summery Sunday. Beaverbrook House is a historic country house hotel located on 370 acres in the countryside of Surrey, just outside of London, and was designed by Susie Atkinson. This project consisted of the refurbishment of 18 bedroom suites and public spaces (restaurant, morning room, library, cinema, parrot bar and private dining room. Susie sourced the antiques, artwork and quirky modern finds to create an original and luxurious that is layered and rich in colour and pattern. It is really stunning.
