This Bend, Oregon newly built home is so warm, cozy and overloaded with personality, perfect for a family. Lots of colour and texture and some granny vintage feels give this such a feel-good energy. Interior Design by Reath Design, Architecture by Bestor Architecture. Photographed by Laure Joliet.
When each room has its own presence and special touches, and really draws you in. This stunning home located in Long Island, NY was designed by Lisa Hershman of Abaca Interiors. It consisted of a complete renovation and extension for a young family moving to the suburbs. The goal was to combine classic architecture with a modern sensibility in furnishings. The result is a really current look that imbues a strong sense of elegance. (Architect: Nathan Laubach, Contractor: Draghi Contracting, Photography and Styling: Stylish Productions)

Layered loveliness.
A whole bunch of pretty, and lots of pale colours and patterns. It’s a bit traditional but it’s so cozy and easy-going. This is the restored cottage of Dallas designer Cathy Kincaid.
What more do I really need to say after that title? A castle in Italy? Don’t mind if I do! I will add that the castle dates to 1200 or earlier and is located in Cigognola, a comune in the Province of Pavia. You can read more about it in Architectural Digest Italy.
