I had to share this Victorian townhouse I spotted from the March issue of Homes & Gardens magazine because it's everything I love all mixed together in one gorgeous package. A restored heritage home with traditional details, a neutral colour palette, mid-century furnishings, vintage glam light fixtures, brass accents throughout, a modern custom kitchen and and an outdoor space make this home pretty much perfection. It's like I say week after week. If you have to drag your sorry self into work on a weekend it certainly eases the pain if your workplace is kick ass stylin'. At first glance this could be a cooler than cool loft apartment but no it's definitely an office. Great space in South Pasadena by ETC.etera (etc for short).
I am head over heels in love with this British family home in Barnes and its striking decor. Full of character and drama while a bit on the classic side and pared back. A gorgeous black library complete with black leather chesterfield (*GASP!!!*) and an eclectic mic of vintage and modern furnishings and lighting make this just all kinds of awesome. They're calling it a micro apartment but it's got more than enough room for me. What it lacks in size it definitely makes up for in style. Are you noticing more and more 80s influences appearing in rooms these days? Or is it just me because I lived (make that thrived) through the decade?
