InteriorDI

I wanted to share another apartment by Russian architecture and design firm INT2 architecture. This one has a totally different vibe than the last - alot less minimal, pale colours and patterns and an all around cozier and playful vibe. There's so much I love about each apartment - a blend of both would be an absolute dream.

Black, white and brown. Modern. French Neoclassicism, including high ceilings, magnificent herringbone hardwood flooring, plaster cornices...and all this in Moscow?! Russian architecture firm INT2 architecture created this 55m2 masterpiece that juxtaposes classic with modern and the result is stunning.

da house

I recently stumbled upon the portfolio of Russian architect Igor Sirotov and was immediately taken with his designs. I can't tell if these are computer generated or just exteme photoshopped but I don't really care. This home is all about drama and open spaces and lots of concrete (a bit cold) and the coolest lounge pit in the living room (I may have a slight obsession with lounge pits). Many friends would be required to thoroughly enjoy this home, because it demands some serious partying.

A dude lives here

It really could not be more obvious that a guy's guy lives here. I may be stereotyping but I'd wager a cat. It has everything a masculine pad could ever dream of - brick walls everywhere, steel beams, loftiness, reclaimed wood, a decent media centre, a just-big-enough kitchen to eat take out in....and it's even got pets made out of conduit! A fun loft in Moscow

I freaking LOVE this loft apartment in Moscow I found on The Village. From what I can make out thanks to Google translate, the owners (who might be architects) needed a live/work space and the loft underwent a massive renovation to make it liveable. There are so many fun features - the hilarious bear rug, a hammock, a tree growing out of the wall, the moody blue bedroom nook, the plant boxes and bicycle art in the kitchen...it's simply a really quirky and playful place to hang out. My one issue is the few inches of rock on the outer edges of the walls - that's sort of odd and wouldn't be very fun to keep clean. And you best get along with your partner. :)
