Lapa is a particular project in Lisbon that transforms with the union of two apartments. From this dynamic, our intervention evolved into creating a global living experience akin to a townhouse per the client’s wish. Between the classic and the contemporary, expanding the social area (to integrate the kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and second office) brought a new soul to the house. We preserved the original paintings in the living room, setting the tone for the colour story and the materiality of the new elements integrated into the architecture and decoration. We designed custom furniture for this project and ensured the decorative lighting brought interest and contrast to the spaces.
WOW this apartment is spectacular!!! L’Éléphant creating drama and elegance once again and I am in awe of the original painted details on the walls and ceiling, which they thankfully maintained.
