I came across this apartment after falling down a rabbit hole of blog research randomness and had to share. This is the Barcelona home of Ana Viladomiu located in the iconic La Pedrera building designed by Antoni Gaudi. Clara Quintana Studio art directed this shoot for Santa & Cole lighting, with photography by Salva López. The materials and architectural detail make this soooo special. Must be a little strange though living in a building that has become a tourist attraction.

Who knew Québec slate and burnt wood could be so sexy and modern and perfect for cabin/chalet life? Chalet du Marin is another project by la Shed Architecture that has me in complete awe. Absolutely storing this one away in my inspiration folder. Particularly the photo of the plant/dog shower. OMG. Photos: Maxime Brouillet

Serenity in a white minimal space. Not sure it could be my every day cup of tea but imagine this as a weekend getaway. OH YES. This is the Barcelona apartment of interior designer Isern Serra and object designer and ceramist Valeria Vasi. A white microcement space left very open with lots of built-ins make it the perfect studio space and blank slate to display objects. Simply lovely.

This 15th century château in Lot-et-Garonne, France has 860 m2 of living space, and sits on 8 ha of land which includes woods, meadows and a pond. Built in a U shape around a central courtyard, it has everything you could want in a château – two swimming pools, workshop, guest house, tennis court, stables, carport, gym, sauna, equestrian quarry and a professional landscaping. WOW!!! What a dream home. For sale via Patrice Besse for €2,200,000.

A computer game designer asked Scotland-based Studio Sam Buckley to “create a room that makes people say ‘Wow’ upon seeing the space” and Sam 150% delivered!!! Really creative colours (today’s theme) and patterns join forces to solidify the deal. His client must be the envy of all their friends.
