Heidi Caillier strikes again with yet another project I am absolutely in love with. The combination of patterns and warm colours and that sexy black kitchen are making my heart skip a beat. GORG. (Photos: Haris Kenjar)

This barn complex in Bellport has a main barn for sleeping, a small cottage for cooking and eating, and a secondary barn for swimming, exercising and spa. The outdoor space contained by the three structures becomes the heart of the complex that is used in so many different ways throughout the seasons. GIMME ALL THE OUTBUILDINGS!!! WOW this would be a dream! By Cicognani Kalla Architect.

A labour of love for our clients, the development of this A-listed stately home was led by their vision that they had for Yester House, located in East Lothian, Scotland. We worked closely with them (over four years) to bring this 17th century house into the 21st century, preparing it for modern family living while maintaining respect to the history of the architecture. The restoration was researched and sympathetic, but this is no museum – it’s a vibrant home for a young family. What a dream home with soooooo much space! Designed by Jeffreys Interiors. This 1980’s villa in Saint Clement de Riviere, in the South of France was fully renovated and transformed by Baptiste Bohu Interiors into a hacienda with a mix of Spanish/Mexican architecture and Moroccan elements. In the perfect colour palette of black and white, with a bit of mustard, and lots of wood and rattan it’s a visual feast of earthy goodness in an absolutely stunning setting.

While perusing the portfolio of Cicognangi Kalla Architect I was continuously stopped in my tracks by the magical outdoor spaces featured as part of their projects. I thought I would share some of my favourites.
