I suspect these photos of the Beldi Country Club in Marrakech does not do its exquisite beauty justice. What I would give to visit in person. This has everything – a 42-suite hotel (each with private terrace), restaurant, spa, gardens, 4 gorgeous pools, its own souk. And all this 10 minutes from the city centre.

It won’t surprise you after scrolling through these photos that London-based designer Susan Deliss designs her own range of fabrics and sells ikats, silk embroideries, kilims, velvets and linens, antique, vintage and new.  One-off furniture, both antique and made to order and upholstered in Susan Deliss’s fabrics are complemented by limited edition cushions and hand-made and lined silk lampshades,  decorative objects and fine art. Her portfolio has me desperately wanting to add so many pretty patterns in my home, which I tend to shy away from. Clearly I am missing out.

When each room has its own presence and special touches, and really draws you in. This stunning home located in Long Island, NY was designed by Lisa Hershman of Abaca Interiors. It consisted of a complete renovation and extension for a young family moving to the suburbs. The goal was to combine classic architecture with a modern sensibility in furnishings. Welcome to Majesty’s Pleasure, a beauty bar & cocktail lounge in Toronto. The concept was the dreamland of an it-girl, contemporary and feminine with an unapologetic use of colour and materiality. Jeffrey Dungan is an architect based in Alabama who is recognized for his clean and modern approach to traditional vernaculars and classical architecture but there is a modern and somewhat edgy approach he takes that is 100% my cup of tea. I could barely get through prepping this post as I kept going back through the photos to take a 3rd and 4th look to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
