Shades of pink and purple – aubergine and dusty rose – can be found throughout the apartment of Daniele Daminelli of Studio2046 that he shares with his wife and 2 children. Located in an over 100 year old building in Treviglio, Northern Italy, each room is one of these moody shades and then mixed with other colours found in an eclectic assortment of rugs, chairs and sofas. I found a few features of this gorgeous apartment while googling and it is very interesting to see the different iterations that have taken place. Fresh, fun and family-friendly is how I would describe this beautiful renovated home by Veneer Designs. A full remodel on an outdated family home was started in 2016 with space planning the reconfiguration of two floors. Moving onto designing the new kitchen, 5 bathrooms, and all the details in between. When construction was coming to an end in early 2018 we jumped in to furnish and decorate the sparkly new interior with a mix of vivid glam furnishings, modern accents, and bold color combinations. Spinzi Design is an interior and furniture design firm based in Milan whose portfolio caught my eye recently and I had to share some of the spaces. This is a random assortment from several projects, showing their versatility with different styles such as modern, contemporary and traditional.

I fell in love with this flat in Barcelona with its great layout and use of colour that’s not overpowering. The family of four wanted light and colour in the space, and have it filled with music and art. Such a fun, timeless space. Put some pink and marble in a bathroom and I’m going to be all over that.
