I am blown away by this 19th century home in France, especially after coming across some before photos. It was completely renovated by architect Sophie Lallias – and you’ll see what I mean by completely when you check out the 2 before photos I added to the end of this post. I love all the black in this home, especially the kitchen and I spot one of my favourite dark wallpapers (Amime by Farrow & Ball). And thankfully the beautiful original staircase was maintained. A renovation to be proud of with a mix or original and modern elements.

My twin sister sent me this photo of her pooch Benson having a nap on me niece Isabella’s bed.

And one from me. A couple of weekends ago I rearranged my living room (in the end, not much moved) and Lucky ended up passing out on the sofa once I had it in place. (I need to redo some of the pics I took of how the space looks now and will post ASAP)

I think having some bold, statement art in a home is as essential as having walls and a ceiling. This home in Madrid I found via Nuevo Estilo filled with really beautiful art is totally inspiring. I have a hard time finding art that really speaks to me but it is worth taking your time to find. On that note, I am super excited to reveal my dining room redo as soon as its done, particularly because of the art grouping I have planned (it took me almost a year to make or find the 4 pieces).

Some edgy bohemian vibes to end off the work week. Check out more of this project by Veneer Designs here including some scary before photos.
(And other features by Veneer Designs here, here and here)

It has been a while since we featured some projects by Nashville-based Crowell & Co. (see here and here). Hannah’s style is so fresh and bright and easy on the eye so I wanted to share another project of hers that is all that and more. This contemporary home is bathed in white with just the right amount of colour accents, some funky abstract art and bold elements like the dining room pendant and rug. Love!!
