Here is another eclectic home by Black Parrots Studio but this time it is mid-century mixed with 70’s tropical!!! The theme becomes much more subtle beyond this crazy cool dining room (that plant/leaf wallpaper looks like it has been there for years) but all of the spaces are fun and dramatic whether in bright or dark colours.

What a fun cottage this is! All kinds of vintage awesomeness throughout this home creating quite and eclectic vibe. A bit a bit mid-century mod, a bit shabby chic, a bit granny cool. I love the unexpected. By Brighton based Black Parrots Studio

Blending new with old is what went down in the renovation of this classic apartment in Vienna. Original tiles, doors, windows and wood floors were restored, making a perfect backdrop for a modern partially free-standing kitchen and furnishings. A subtle grey and white colour scheme makes this home serene and keep the attention on the details. By architecture and design firm destilat.

This is Wolf. We often find him sitting in this chair, thinking deep thoughts like “Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?” He suspects the answer is no. The orange potato in the background is Wolf’s adopted brother Fox. We’re not sure what Fox’s deep thoughts are about. He’s an enigma.

I recently commented that I should do a “where’s waldo” type series with my IG account for the cats (@cattttastrophic). Here is a prime example. Where’s Milo?

My crush on Victorian homes in London continues. This Victorian terrace in Clapham, South West London has amazing details. Fireplaces, wood floorboards, bay windows, exposed brick, stained glass, free-standing bath….all of this makes my heart skip a beat. Fun fact: this house was previously used by Farrow and Ball as a poster home for the brand. Available as a location home through jj Locations.
