What do you do when you have a commercial space with double height windows along 2 sides? Fill it with plants and go tropical!! Bar Botanique – Café Tropique in Amsterdam is one of the coolest bars I have ever seen. Shades of green and salmon with accents of yellow and blue, it is an absolutely beautiful hangout day or night. I am totally in love with the home of London interior designer Tiffany Duggan of Studio Duggan. Recently renovated, this Edwardian townhouse is filled with an eclectic blend of styles, textures and patterns. Lots of bold art work and wall colour choices make this eclectic home an absolute treasure.

More of Tiffany’s work can be found here.

I spotted this apartment by Seattle and New York based interior designer Allison Lind and had to share because it is bold, colourful, and glamourous with a fabulously posh art deco vibe. I am completely in love with the bedroom. Helloooooo crushed velvet bed!! Gold accents throughout add sparkle, and I’m impressed that she’s combined 2 wallpapers in the small living room. Now that’s ballsy!

It has been quite some time since we shared a project by Latvian interior designer Natalja Radchenko. It was great to hear from her recently when she sent us photos of a new project of hers. It is a Soviet-era home outside Riga, Latvia. Icky brown painted floors, dingy wallpaper and ugly ceilings were once horrible features in these spaces…

But not anymore! Check it out post-renovation and decoration below. LOVE this transformation!!!

It’s a dream I’ve always harboured. An unpretentious beachside house, comfortable with an almost spartan beauty… almost. I would always have room for a found object or a time worn piece. A short walk to a wind swept beach. The sound of waves ever present like a heartbeat of a simple life. A home to be alone and a home to share with family and friends. A house a little something like this. The Grey House Camber via Light Locations.
