More kitchen love

Posted on Tue, 27 Jun 2017 by KiM

Just when I thought I’d found my dream kitchen in the last post… well… truth is I’m fickle. Oh no I haven’t changed my mind about deVOL kitchens. I just have a new favourite kitchen that’s all. Traditional meets eclectic with touches of retro French and contemporary graphic tiles. And the colour? Stunning.

Here’s me (Bob) and Teddy having an afternoon nap. We live on the far north coast of New South Wales, Australia. My daughter took the photo on a day when it was 47 degrees Celsius outside. But inside – it was a wonderful 21. The sofa is really comfortable, it’s filled with feathers and down. It’s just the place for a nana nap.

This is my Maltese Rocco, who is absolutely, the sweetest thing in our home.
Michelle (Ridgewood, New Jersey)

And a couple from me of course 🙂 First up is Phoebe snoozing on my grandfather chair in my living room and there are no rules in this house so Felix is sprawled on the dining table.

Who sleeps like this?! #mybronxies

Stalking watering can in hand

Posted on Mon, 26 Jun 2017 by KiM

Don’t get me wrong. I love the styling of this house in Melbourne’s waterside suburb of Brighton. I just think a lot of those plants would soon die if I was responsible for watering them on a regular basis. Link here while it lasts.

A converted timber mill

Posted on Fri, 23 Jun 2017 by KiM

A mix of old and new, dark and light, modern and rustic. This converted timber mill in Sydney, Australia has everything I love in a home. And it is absolutely stunning inside and out. Kudos to architecture firm Carter Williamson for completing yet another dreamy project.
