I’m stalking in the well-heeled Melbourne suburb of Toorak and what a home I have found. 1930’s brick with 4 bedrooms, 3 bath and wonderful outdoor living and garden. Almost like living in a resort. Perhaps not quite my style (I’d like a bit more art deco, a touch less Hamptons) but hey I wouldn’t say no if one of you bought it for me. Link here while it lasts.

Minimalism meets mid century, a touch of industrial and beautiful old bones, human scale and warmth. All work together to make this Parisian apartment by Philippe Harden the epitome of contemporary chic.

And a few from me. Georgie made a rare appearance acting like a normal cat yesterday morning and she graciously allowed me to photograph her. Phoebe chilling on the sofa in the living room that I recently covered with 2 vintage embroidered tablecloths. And feral brothers Bernie and Frankie cuddling for warmth on my Victorian embroidered chair.

Clean contemporary lines with an emphasis on texture and finishes. Timber plays a predominant part in the scheme punctuated with black accents. Melbourne-based interior design firm Studio Tate have renovated this Prahran home creating a sleek, chic but ultimately family friendly home.

I have fallen for this small, 71 m2 apartment in the Stockholm ‘hood of Östermalm. It’s all dolled up in my favourite colour palette of shades of grey and white with accents of black and pale pink. The decor has been kept un-fussy and makes the space feel larger. The adorable exterior is a bonus. Available for sale through Lagerlings.
