A wee, white shed by the sea in the Èze region of France. It may be small in size but it’s big on style. Piano on the deck anyone? Cabanon by Monaco-based architectural duo Humbert & Poyet.

If modern minimalism is something you’re into, which I am because sometimes I just need something that is easy on the eye, then I think you’ll dig this guest house in Chociwle, Poland designed by Loft Kolasiński. With a Scandinavian, mid-century feel this dwelling is a tad masculine, a touch funky and a smidge hip. What a cool collection of furnishings from the 30’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s from Italy, France, the Netherlands, Czech Republic and Poland – including a polish HI-Fi stereo from the 80’s. A stylish, new mid mod pays homage to the oh so cool Palm Springs vibe. Built on Frank Sinatra’s old estate there’s even a cheeky tribute to ol’ blue eyes himself.
