Every once in a while a Swedish home blows me away with some not-so-Swedish decor. This being one of them. I found this property on Lagerlings, and it is all about feminine glamour. Some velvet, a mirrored console, rugs with leopard and zebra prints, glossy black doors, pale pink walls, brass accents, marble….it is one really beautiful thing after another. I am not sure how much my husband would be into this home but I would LOVE to live here. 

James Huniford has an incredible talent. He can take a space that is pretty fabulous to start with, and turn it into a jaw-dropping, mind-blowing, what-dreams-are-made-of masterpiece. I am totally smitten with each one of these rooms. And all of the plants. (Check out previous feaatures here, here and here) 

It has been a while since I featured the work of Generation from South Africa. Not only do they carry some pretty spectacular furniture, but their spaces are polished, inviting and hard to spot any overdone trends here! As a side note I just took a look at their sofa range and WOW. I typically find sofas boring but these really do it for me. (And this isn’t a sponsored post for the record)

Beatriz Silveira is an interior designer from Madrid, Spain whose spaces I am completely lusting over. They are so full of personality and unexpected touches. A sort of elegant eclecticism that is floor to ceiling eye candy. The details are impeccable – right down to the super hot, skinny brass legs on the sofa four photos below. *SWOON*

Today’s post is in memory of Minnie, my sister’s cat who was diagnosed with cancer several months ago and was given about 3 months to live. Well, she long surpassed the 3 months but it isn’t looking good so today she will be leaving us.
We’ll miss you Minnie XOXO

Also, please say a little prayer for my sweet Felix. He’s going in for exploratory surgery because after 4 different tests, we still don’t know why he has lost so much weight over the past year. 🙁
