Anyone out there with £7 million to blow on a really cool home? This might be the place for you! This 3 bedroom home includes a concrete and glass central core staircase, top floor media area, cellar/tasting room, double garage and rooftop garden. Located in Bayswater, London it was recently refinished with a masculine vibe by Maddux Creative and originally designed by Guy Stansfeld Architects. And I think it’s HOT! Sadly, I do not have £7 million. For sale via Domus Nova.

As part of the “Tiny House Movement”, the Llano Exit Strategy was created. As the story in a nutshell goes, Matt Garcia and some friends wanted to figure out how to acquire themselves a getaway within 90 minutes of Austin, TX. It would need to have a hangout for all of them plus separate sleeping quarters with private bathrooms. When they purchased some land in 2011, Mat Garcia came up with 400 sq ft eco-friendly cabins and a 1500 sq ft commons building (housing Bosch appliances, Wolf stove, and a huge wooden table from Restoration Hardware). What a sweet idea! And you can even rent it from them on Airbnb. (Photos: Bill Sallans)

Originally built in 1951 by Edwin Pfluger, this midcentury modern home in Austin was remodeled and is now a hip pad that is far from a blast from the past. From the fantastic landscaping to the bright all-white kitchen, this home has it all. Designed by Matt Garcia Design. If you thought the photos I shared yesterday of Stacy Bass‘ new book on gardens were gorgeous, check out this eye candy from her interiors portfolio. The photo above is my absolute favourite. Magical.

Below is a photo of our rescue, Roxie, warming up by the fire on our George Nelson bench (with Hans Olsen fried egg chair in background).

This is our Tonkinese ‘Butch’ as you can see he is loving our new Hans Wegner Shell chair

1 – Bella (aka The Fuzz). I had her from when she was a puppy up until when she passed away at 14. She was a sweet and shy dog but when she wanted for me to get up she would take a running jump and pounce on me in bed.
2 – Bruno. I adopted him in July of 2015 and he’s about 10 now. He’s quite big for a Husky and super fluffy. Don’t let that sweet innocent look fool you. He’s a firecracker when it’s time to go anywhere – walks, car rides, Petco, you name it – he’s Mr. Social.
– Ana (San Diego)

Here is my little girl. Her name is Bijou (13 yo) and she is sitting on my 60s Danish sofa. She loves the sun room. I am in the process of trying to claim it back. Lol.
– Aaron (Nashville, TN)

Found this one my phone. Count the kitties.
