Heriot Row in Edinburgh is a beautiful family home that dates back to the 1800’s. HZI were commissioned to renovate this historic five story property whilst retaining its heritage. With a combination of architectural and interior design, HZI remodelled the house giving this family of six more space by developing a basement extension. The bedrooms, three reception rooms, dining room, kitchen, gym and bathrooms were all updated, adding interest and character through architectural detailing, custom joinery, specialist plasterwork, furniture and fixtures.
In true Hubert Zandberg Interiors fashion, a beautiful home is made even more beautiful at his hand, with elements of sophistication, elegance and practicality. Layered and lovely! Photos: James McDonald.

I really admire this Los Angeles home designed by Julia Chasman. It has a bit of everything which really speaks to me as I tend to be unable to settle one one style/vibe/scheme. In my humble option it is a wonderful example of blending maximalism and minimalism. You have a serene, almost farmhouse style kitchen bordering on minimal, and then a snug that is completely wrapped in multiple patterns and bold colours. Fabulous! This magnificent property known locally as “Chateau de Valensolles”, or Villa Gayet was built in the early 20th century by renowned architect Pierre Blein for the Gayet family. 4 storey, 5 bathroom & 10 bedroom historic chateau, nestling in over 4 hectares of glorious land with gardens and pond, enjoying countryside views from its location in Valence. Comprising around twenty rooms and outbuildings, a large basement as well as a 4.3 hectare landscaped garden with a pond, it offers a privileged living environment to its occupants.
The details of this château are truly exceptional. Soooo much potential with this one! For sale via Prestige Property for €3,120,000.

This is a lot of house for a vacation home but what a vacation home it is! Built in 1770, this riverfront home in Easton, Maryland designed by Jess Weeth of Weeth Home honours its history and was at the same time brought into the present making it a functional and beautiful for years to come. I love that it has a bit of sophistication, cottagecore, and beach vibes. Stunning. Photos: Keyanna Bowen.
