Heriot Row in Edinburgh is a beautiful family home that dates back to the 1800’s. HZI were commissioned to renovate this historic five story property whilst retaining its heritage. With a combination of architectural and interior design, HZI remodelled the house giving this family of six more space by developing a basement extension. The bedrooms, three reception rooms, dining room, kitchen, gym and bathrooms were all updated, adding interest and character through architectural detailing, custom joinery, specialist plasterwork, furniture and fixtures.

I really admire this Los Angeles home designed by Julia Chasman. It has a bit of everything which really speaks to me as I tend to be unable to settle one one style/vibe/scheme. In my humble option it is a wonderful example of blending maximalism and minimalism.
