It’s not often that I start a house tour from the back door and move my way to the front but I am totally smitten by the sun room at the rear of this converted carriage house in Boston by interior designer Melissa Miranda. Oh my! Oh my! Not that the rest of the house isn’t wonderful. White and bright with a mix of mid century, scandi, boho and modern it is fun and fresh and stylish.

New work from one of my all time favourite designers, Suzy Hoodless. Working in collaboration with architects Hackett Holland, this 5 storey townhouse in Notting Hill is simply sublime. Graphic, playful yet sophisticated, stylish.

Have you heard? Monday has been cancelled. No need for the weekend to end. No need to get the kids off to school or head in to work. Instead we can all spend the day by the water at this Palm Beach Pool House north of Sydney. Well maybe not all of us. It’s the perfect get away for two. Where else would I find such a gem? While some of you are booking tables at restaurants for a Saturday night out some of us are getting ready to serve you. A great night out on the weekend for some is just another shift at work for others. If you have to drag your sorry self into work on a weekend it should be to somewhere super stylish.
