Stalking 2

I’m just down the road from my last stalking victim property in the suburb of Annandale. A three level, modern family home hiding behind a narrow inner-city Sydney terrace house facade with central glass atrium, lush vertical garden and plunge pool. Link here while it lasts.

Stalking a Victorian era residence in Glebe, Sydney. Renovation design by Michael Bechara. Love the contrast of old against new, the 6m high atrium and the enviable art collection. Link here while it lasts.

A little bit of rustic French kitchen sophistication by Laurent Passe. Rustic sophistication? Mais oui!

Great outdoors

Australians love the great outdoors. We’ll do anything to get out of the house. We love the beach. We love the bush. We love our local park. But most of all we love our own back yards. Outside our homes is just as important as inside. It’s not hard to understand considering our wonderful weather. If only we all had such fabulous gardens like these two designed by Melbourne-based landscape architect and horticulturist Ben Scott. “Elegant and sophisticated gardens that are created to be lived in and enjoyed.”

Working on a Saturday

Saturday? Work day? Bummer! But there’s no need to be glum if you work in someplace stylish and fun. I’d happily drag my sorry self into work if I was a sales assistant at vintage clothing and accessories store, Vintage Sole, by Melbourne-based Moth Design. Yes cool clothes, yes copper pipe hanging racks but whoa, knockout stencil floor idea for those of us who can’t afford meters and meters of encaustic tiles.
