On the blog that is. I’m still waiting for the boat in real life. If I did have a yacht I’d have one just like this refurbed 1961 cruiser by Peter Wilds Design. Warm polished wood, gleaming metal, sophisticated black and white. Pass me my boat shoes and my captain’s cap. It’s love at first sight.
I just had to share another project from Hare + Klein. Their new website has my head spinning with inspiration. House after house, photo after photo. Simply stunning. Like this family home redo in Manly, Sydney just a stones throw from the water. No tired old blue and white beach theme here. Just rich colour, texture and personality. Earthy. Warm like the sun. Casual and stylish just like a beach side family home should be.

A prewar New York apartment is transformed into a brooding, masculine abode with a nod to the darkside and a temple to the television. Beautiful, bespoke storage features throughout including the gallery display in the entrance foyer. Clean lined and rich. By raad studio.
When a designer creates a cubby for a charity auction to raise money for homeless youth what else would you expect but something very special? The Vardo Hut Cubby by Doherty Design Studio.
