Spotted this powder room on Remodelista and I knew I had to see more of the house. What is it about subway tile, dark grout and the warm, golden hue of wood that gets me every time? Add in a hint of copper or pipe used for anything other than carrying water and well, I’m weak at the knees. Greenpoint Townhouse by Brooklyn based multidisciplinary design and construction firm WE Design.
Talk about packing a design punch. I can’t wait to see more of this Fitzroy apartment by interior designer extraordinaire Greg Natale but I guess I’ll just have to wait until November 2014 when his book The Tailored Interior is released. Swoon. Love his wallpaper range for Porter’s Paints. Stripes never looked so sexy.
Designer, tv-host, author, lecturer and curator. Many hats, one great talent. Love this redesign of hotel and conference centre Rungstedgaard by Frederikke Aagaard. Old meets new, fresh and fun.
Ever since Inside Out magazine went monthly I’ve been in seventh heaven. After all you can never get too much of a good thing! Managing editor Lee Tran Lam has sent along a sneak peek into the new September issue.
The mag is out Thursday, and I’ve bundled up for you our cover story – it’s about a couple who organised their Melbourne renovation from the Middle East (!), where they were based, via Skype and time-zone-coordinating correspondence with local architect Clare Cousins (pictured), who got the ball rolling and ensured the process was as hitch-free as possible by the time they landed back in Australia. You can see that all the organisation clearly paid off in these images, styled by Marsha Golemac and photographed by Brooke Holm.
Aussie readers can pick up their copy of the September Inside Out on Thursday. Don’t fret if you aren’t in Australia because you can read along on Zinio, Google Play, the Apple Newsstand and Nook.
