I’m speechless. A truly beautiful home with a spartan luxury Son Serra by Mallorcan designers, Victoria Vidal and Feliu Rullan of multidisciplinary studio BonVivant.

The project may be called “Paddo Pool Terrace” but don’t let the slang fool you. This Paddington home with interiors by Handelsmann & Khaw is an elegant interpretation of Sydney living at its best with an emphasis on light and space, natural materials and the connection between indoors and out. Full of Grace Interiors that is. This house in the Melbourne suburb of Ivanhoe has been transformed by Therese Carrodus into a colourful family home.

“The owners of this 1940’s two-storey property engaged Full Of Grace to transform their existing home into a space that would be functionally liveable as well as visually stimulating. Their brief was to seamlessly transcend the design eras from the 1940’s to present day combining retro glamour with modern day functionality.”

“The client’s brief was primarily to transplant their pre-existing family home into their contemporary new home in an authentic and integrated way. Stylistically, the clients wanted to the interior to be designed around their key pieces of furniture and collectibles, cultivated over many years. The design skilfully re-frames these sentimental items with care and attention.”

Tonal variations, layers of texture, wabi-sabi and soft filtered light. The result is an urban oasis. Terra House by Melbourne-based interior designer Brahman Perera.

The perfect blend of primitive and modern with a warm minimalism and a touch of wabi-sabi. It’s about clean lines, variations on a neutral colour palette and subtle changes in texture. Earthy but chic. T Studio by Taipei-based Ecru Studio.
