Too many meetings today! My head is in a spin. Just wish that just one of the boardrooms or offices I sat in today was as fabulous as this one by Studio Slow.

As I say week after week, if you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend it helps if it’s somewhere stylish. It doesn’t get more stylish than La Porte Space‘s latest creative complex La Porte Deux with its event space, photographic studio, boutique short-term and long-term offices and a retail space in Sydney’s Rosebery. Exquisite.

It’s my weekly mantra. If you have to drag yourself into work on a Saturday then it helps if your workspace is stylish. The Aviary, a coworking space for architects and designers in Vancouver designed by Laura Melling.

Many years ago I worked weekends in an art gallery to help put myself through university. No one had to drag me kicking and screaming to work. I loved it. So I guess featuring this gallery design by lsl architects doesn’t really fit my usual mantra for working on a Saturday but what the heck I love the black and white contrast and the strict aesthetic of the space.
