Not your average A-frame

I have always thought A-frame cabins where the cutest things ever. I am a fan of the graphic shape but this A-frame “cabin” goes above and beyond. This is quite the minimalist and modernist take on your typical A-frame structure. I freaking love it – especially the exaggerated peak. (Thanks to my BIL for the link to this William O’Brien Jr. designed cabin!)

It is a wonderful design…I think Peter Guthrie should be credited for the visualization. A master of CG.

Ivy Lane says:

That is amazing! The view must be spectacular from the front window… WOW! Thanks for sharing!

Evelisa says:

This is so cool. Even the chairs match the shape of the "cabin". The peak is amazing.

Stunning shapes, like the House in the Dunes. I need an origami shaped garden shed. I guess it's a start, right?

Agree with the first comment – Peter Guthrie does some amazing architectural visualization. Check out his website here….

Love it! Surreal view through the huge window; church-like, dreamy architecture that is in complete harmony with its surroundings. Absolute perfection, including the decking.

This is an amazing house, structure, architectural accomplishment. LOVE!

Beau contraste entre le noir et le blanc. La lumière à l'intérieur est magnifique avec cette immense vitre qui la forme d'une église!

Fer Buenos Aires says:

Is that a real house or a CGI sketch? So how do you clean the upper portion of the windows? And how do you heat that space? A scalene triangle just doesn't seem relaxing.

Can anyone tell me where I might find those white-and-wood dining chairs?
