I love all things vintage and eclectic, and the portfolio of stylist Selina Lake is all of this wrapped up in some gorgeously styled spaces. Selina is “into all things colourful, quirky, vintage and bazaar” and she loves rummaging in flea markets, boot sales and charity shops for vintage treasures to decorate her own home. It shows.

I really am into bright color in white rooms lately and these are just gorgeous! So funky and fun. Plus it all looks like somthing I could achieve myself.

I especially love the credenza photo. The orange and mint! YUMM!!

I love it that she is not afraid to use color but just what she finds to put it together is so witty and eclectic and cool. LUUUVVV it!

SHUT UP with those images! SO LOVELY!!! 🙂

Happy ’08, ladies!

Absolutely gorgeous! And so achievable by the common gal – photo 7 – I have that duvet cover. It’s from Ikea!!

I adore that yellow sofa! Know anything about it? Did she make it? Maybe out of raincoats?

Love that yellow dress – what a great idea

Hello and thank you for all your lovely comments regarding my work on my new website.

To answer some of your questions, the LOVE pillow cases are from a lovely shop called The Cross in London. The PVC sofa was a junk shop find and it has been recovered. Both theses shots where taken from my new book Bazaar style, published by Ryland Peters & Small. Its on sale from Feb 2008 to pre order a copy go to amazon.

Thanks again,
Selina Lake
