I’ve subscribed to a few Canadian shelter magazines for several years and my favourite has always been Canadian House & Home. If you can get your hands on one, do check it out. Their website is fantastic as well and has a great gallery of photos from past issues where I found these…

As usual, I never know where to look first there’s so much eye candy with your posts!! Love it. I already subscribe to Home and Style at Home but haven’t tried Canadian House & home yet. Will definitely check it out!
Thanks!

oh my gawd rockdove, that’s quite the coincidence and would be awfully strange to see. And Karen, this one is better than Style at Home (I subscribe to that too).

That teepee room with the Hudson’s Bay blanket and cedar chip (?) floor. Fantastic! (In a very Canadian way)
“If anyone needs me, I’ll be in the teepee!”

I like the arrangement of furniture in the third picture (the B&W room). Perfect for when you want to have guests over, but you don’t want to look at the wretched creatures.
Jennifer Ramos says:
I think CREATIVE spaces like the one with the kids paintings on the wall are so INTERESTING AND give the space a personal feel. That is why I place my own paintings throughout my home.

Being a Canadian, I like to read magazines from here mixed with international magazines. Canadian House & Home always made my short list.
Now, they produce a digital issue. You can subscribe to either one or both. The digital issue arrives on my inbox before the print version surfaces on my mailbox. I still like flipping the pages of a magazine. The digital version let you enjoy Canadian H&H wherever you live.
