Purple Area

Susann Larsson is an interior designer from Malmö, Sweden. You’ll know her as the creative force behind one of my most favourite blogs Purple Area. (I’m there everyday drinking it all in.) This is Susann’s home. Gorgeous! It’s quite minimalist, simple and clean but still a wonderfully warm and individual family home. Love that wall of books and yet another example that not all Scandinavian design is white. Oh no it’s all grown up grey in this purple area!

This is one of my favourite blogs – very eclectic! I am surprised Susann’s home is so minimalist – her posts encompass such a variety of styles.

I absolutely love the kitchen. It;s modern, functional, smart. Great!

I LOVE the kitchen. Talk about counter space!!!! Wow!!!

And the blue tiled bathroom is great too. Love the little window above the tub 🙂

I love it! Moving in tomorrow.

i love the punches of color here and there and also the interesting height changes to some of the rooms, like stepping up to that dining table and the stairs surrounded by books. alot has been thought through here and done so well!

I am so amazed that Susann lives in such an incredible home. WOW!!!! It’s beyond words. And sure, it’s minimal, and lord knows I can’t live without lots of stuff, but it clearly suits her style/lifestyle. Way to go Susann!!!

What an amazing space! Veyr clean lines and the few pops of color – super cool.
