Holy eatery heaven! A dining table on wheels? The glorious benches next to a huge picture window?? That giant white fixture in the first shot??? Loooooove it, love it all.
The feeling of the top picture is so smooth and cool and pure and lovely. My fantasy chairs pulled up to the table don’t hurt a bit. I’m toying with the idea of having some white Panton chairs of my own in my new breakfast dining area. I love looking at all these photos for inspiration. Thank you!
First is beautiful. Marble floor – no way. So impractical. That little bench seat in the cabin is just where I want to be this NYE. Thanks for all your lovely posts this year. xoxo
the last is my favourite (Turnbull Griffin Haesloop) imagine sipping coffee on a winter morning looking at the frost on the grass, or a summer morning just as the sun touches the tree tops listening to the dawn chorus, or dusk watching colours change, or a rain storm while you are snug inside – I think it would be hard to drag me out of that little corner
I loved the simplicity of the haesloop dining nook, which fairly represented the entire house. I’m beginning to worry about my next painting project — the deep grey accent walls that keep popping up here are shattering my plan to explore jewel tones! I can’t help wondering how Granny’s retirement home rec room ended up here, though; bamboo chairs, mismatched furniture & all! She always did like keeping an eye on the lobby…

What about the tulips in the chandelier? I loved the idea of being asked to dinner in such a setting.
