Far from the norm

It’s simple really. Simplicity is beautiful. Form and function, not trends and fashion. Quality and materials, durability and sustainability, light and space. “A single room where the sunlight plays over a rich surface of stone, beautiful hardwoods or structural fabrics can be decorative in itself.” Simple yes, simply stunning.  Danish architectural firm  NORM Arkitekter.

What gorgeous photos. I love those rustic wooden beams going across the ceiling in a few of the photos; the contrast is perfect!

Wow. Beautiful. Thank you.

I love anything Scandinavian, and this is no exception. The pale walls with exposed brick and wood beams are right up my alley. You guys always have the best decor!

Gorgeous photos…I love the light, weathered looking floor boards. All the rooms seem so serene.

Makes your heart race a little…I die for that charcoal bathroom…

Love how inviting these simple, yet BEAUTIFUL, rooms are – particularly that dining room with the herringbone floor. A nice reminder that less can be much more!

Makes me just a little jealous…well actually a lot.
