Ngoc Minh Ngo encore

Posted on Tue, 23 Feb 2010 by midcenturyjo

Once upon a time I fell in love with a photo of a room, a bedroom that just spoke to me. Ngoc Minh Ngo took that shot. Ngoc is a contender for my all time fav photographer. We’ve featured her work before but it’s time for an encore. Love everything that she captures with her lens. There’s a spirit, a joy in her images. Photographer crush to the max. Not hard to see why!

I love the beautiful light that floods in. She is one very talented artist.

Great shots! I really like the interiors at the top two photos.

Really great shots. That last one with the surfer mural…amazing!

Lovely lighting! I love the first shot.

The 1st photo is my fav – it got a good long stair out of me… I can’t stop looking at it. So much to admire. Just gorgeous room, I really like the wood flooring.

Really great works.

She’s one of my all-time faves too. Thanks so much for this post – it’s always great to see more of her work.

These are inspiring images, thank you for sharing them. However, more and more, it bothers me when you highlight the photographer or sort images as a photographer’s portfolio. The real artists behind the inspiration here are the designers and homeowners who have, over time and effort, assembled these places with intention. Yes, it’s great that someone knows how to capture the beauty of a place by finding the right angles and lighting, but c’mon!

I see your point "hello" but we here at DTI appreciate interior photography and will continue to feature photographer’s portfolios. If you want to find out more info about the origins of the spaces featured, wander over to the photog’s website and in about 10% of cases you will find out who created the spaces.

Great stuff. I especially like the first photograph you are displaying.
