London-based architectural photographer Edmund Sumner is an amazing talent. He grew up in a family of architects and designers therefore he has developed a sincere appreciation for architecture. His photographs appear natural and vivacious. They truly evoke a mood that reflects the surroundings. (Check out a VERY cool concrete home after the jump).

Such unique and interesting decor. I really enjoyed going through these images.

Great photos. All of the homes are gorgeous and he really captures their individual beauty in the photos.

I love the sun burning in from outside, and the calm, colorful shadows of the interiors. The concrete house is amazing, and strange — it doesn't look heavy. More like origami than tons of grey weight. The ceiling of the indoor/outdoor living space is perfect. I'm not sure why, it just is! It could be the line of horizontal windows at the back, keeping the stone wall from overwhelming everything.

Is it old fashioned to want to see everything, from the foreground right out to the house behind the subject house? Because its the depth of focus that gives me the sense of place that makes visualizing this in 3-D a pleasure. As opposed to!

Oh. Yum. The concrete house is awesome!

Oh I just love the style, the place with the big wooden windows and no line between door and ceiling, oh, I melted. It'd be like living outside under an awning all the time, bliss!

Kim in Jersey says:

WOW!
