Jieldé – an obsession – part 2

At just about every moment I can say I have an obsession with something. Back in January it was Jieldé lamps. Now it’s Jeffrey Campbell shoes, fashion blogs….and Jieldé lamps. This being the case, I thought I’d feature more photos of this beloved lamp that I still yearn for. (Happy Friday y’all. I have big – ok not really – plans for this weekend. I think I’m going to go to my little sister’s new cottage tomorrow to help put together all the Ikea furniture her and her husband just bought and then Sunday I’m hoping to take photos of my finally completed dressing room. I figured if I mentioned it on the blog I’d actually get around to shooting it. Especially since it’s going to be torn down and moved to a newly constructed room when the house additions are done. LOL)

Kathryn says:

Gorgeous images, all of them!

Sammy says:

They really are the cutest little alien robots 🙂

Marjee says:

Have you seen this Swedish version? Based on the 1919 designed Triplex lamp. Similar base and mechanism but different shape to the shade.
I found it through this lovely lady's blog:

Gigi says:

Ok – how do you pronounce it? I love them, too.

Lisa says:

Thank you for naming this lamp I have seen in so many photos and always loved!! Now I can HUNT. 🙂

KiM says:

Marjee, I LOOOVE those lamps and have had my eye on them for a while now. I'd love to own both. 🙂

Christina says:

Waah, I love them too! Though I think I'm a little uncertain as to what exactly defines a Jielde lamp. I especially love the ones like in the first image that have several pivots. So much personality!

Annette says:

Love the lamps! Is that a poster in the kitchen? Beautiful colors of orange and black.
