Gilles Trillard

It’s been quite a week so far filled with small, irritating events that have left me a little…crusty. So today I would like to simply feature some fantabulous photos, and lose myself in their beauty. The photographer du jour, Gilles Trillard, is based in Paris and has worked for magazines such as Elle-Décoration, Côté-Sud and Campagne Décoration. Most notably he has shot Jonathan Adler’s home (you can easily spot some of the photos below).

Brilliant wallpaper. Reminds me of a Cy Twombly painting.

I love the monochromatic look with all the chocolate brown. Very masculine and calming. The use of bright jewel tone accent and art pieces really add the right pop. Great look.

Pearl says:

What a cool ping pong table.

lucie says:

the ping pong table is my favorite too, but only accompanied by the carpet, great post, thank you!

Anna says:

I love the way he uses softer, more natural light. Generally, interior shots are full artificial light – these more natural shots give you a better feel of what the room would really be like in person. Gorgeous rooms too!

Meme says:

Ugh Jonathan Adler is over rated

oregonbird says:

Really? Images of spaces that fiddley can soothe? Hmmm…

jonathan adler is fun
