Swedish born photographer Björn Wallander now lives in NYC with his dog Ella and has made quite a name for himself, having shot for several mags you all know and love(d) including Domino, Oprah, Dwell, Martha Stewart and Real Simple. I am completely and utterly smitten with his portfolio, which is full of photographs of spaces whose lightness and darkness and shadows are captured so perfectly….

OMG. That tub. Want!

Nina says:

He really knows how to show the best of a space.

Like it when large pieces of art are used in spaces – the Faye Dunaway photo is a nice touch.

homestilo says:

I like how the shots often catch more than one room.

I really like how he uses the light to make the pics warm. These spaces look all very cozy and intimate; it's no wonders he's so successful! 😀

Ciao

LOVE this place!

and he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

Andrew says:

What is the artwork in the 3rd photo on the left and right of the opening? great pieces!

Zsa Zsa says:

I love the interiors..but I must say that THAT is a magnificent view of the city at night! I'd give anything to have a view like that. 🙂

Really love the banquet seating in the dark bistro kitchen…it has such a great vibe 🙂
