What a way to start the week! Let’s all move into this party home extraordinaire. Designed by Madrid interior designer Marta de la Rica this house in the resort of Sotogrande in Andalusia is perfect for long hot Spanish days. Friends and family, fun and relaxation. The dining room is just right for a long lunch, curl up for a movie in the family room, party time on the entertainment deck and pool house. Actually you’ll find me in those stunning bathrooms. I always love a bathroom.

Love the painted headboards – and wish I could see more of that blue painting in the living room! Why do photographers often neglect photographing the great art in people's homes??

Jo, I too enjoy a well-designed bathroom. The one with the dark stained concrete, weathered mirrors and huge basin sink with the gorgeous striped towels is my favorite. The white floors add a lovely contrast. Also the striped armless chair in the bathroom looks inviting and all of the baskets add warmth. I think I could spend a lot of time in there.

As a resort, I love all the colors and comfy lounges with all the pillows at the pool. Andalucia! I could definitely see spending some time….

that bathroom is great – I love the old wood mirrors. And that dining room set up is amazing – definitely pinning it!

Any way you can find out the source of the copper orb pendant lights. They took my breath away.

Emmanuelle says:

When can I move in? Good vibes all around the house, comfort, style and a zest of happiness. Excellent combination, don't you agree?

peggy says:

Such a beautiful home! I love all the colors. My favorite thing is the dining room chairs! Love them.

midcenturyjo says:

The lights are Tom Dixon's Copper Shade.

selina says:

J'adore! muy guapa! I can't get enough Spanish interior design! And the chairs! mama mia!

I was surfing the web and reached desire to inspire by chance, and was very pleasently surprised to see that my work has received such nice comments in such a nice blog! I would like to thank you all! I will be updating my website shortly with new projects – hope you like them. Best, Marta
