Tiny

A teeny tiny apartment in Pohořelec in the Castle area of Prague by A1 Architects. A mere 57 square meters in a 19th century building. Designed as a long term rental (and hence I’m assuming its somewhat spartan decoration) it offers clever ideas for small space living. By incorporating the kitchen into the hallway and opening it through to the combined dining living area the space seems larger than it is. Love the splash of lime green adding life to an otherwise white canvas.

That scrubbing pad lamp fixture is the best.

Ruth says:

I love all the thoughtful touches: clean palette, the light wells up in the ceiling in the bathroom and bedroom, the study. My husband and I lived for six years in 690 square feet and it was blissful!

kate says:

I would love to live in this space! Gorgeous, feels spacious in terms of decor, but the size would make it cosy enough. I'm swooning.

rooth says:

What a nice uncluttered space – that would not fly at my house!

peggy says:

It's perfect! I could easily live there. I especially love the little office nook off the bedroom.

Ypille says:

This is the smartest thing I ever saw!

(Excuse me, I have some problems to write or speak in English. I'm from Spain). It's a nice space but my cuestion it's always the same. where do you save the things? I need a lot of cabinets to save some things. the colors are perfects. I have to learn a lot. Someday, I have to send some photos of my apartament because I need help to improve my house

David says:

I really like the lights hanging from the tree limb and how it is finished in white.

Lucinda says:

So many excellent ideas for a small space: the long low cabinets, the partitioned study, the flow-around kitchen/dining bench. As any small apartment owner knows bench space is king!

Jesselyn says:

Love the space. Now need to go figure out how to recreate the branch light over the dining nook. hmmmm…
