L’idylle rustique

Posted on Mon, 5 Mar 2012 by midcenturyjo

As promised. The rustic perfection, the boho confection. Farmhouse in Bourgogne, France by Joséphine Gintzburger. Strong modern elements juxtaposed with bucolic history. Rough luxe meets Parisian flair.

What a cool home! I love the vintage, modern and industrial rustic elements all mixed in together. What personality!

I agree with oregonbird – the master bath has some questionable design elements: the washbasin position and also the lack of mirror! I need a big well lit mirror for make up application etc. but perhaps the French women like to go au naturel?
The second bath with the shower seems better designed.
Love the natural light throughout – no need for drapes – just let the outside in!
Also the kids' bedroom is very cute but the beds seems bit flimsy to me.

Perfectly decorated and an ideal place – it's got both, and so well balanced, just makes you excited to see it. Although I don't have the ideal place it's what I would want anywhere. Back to the drawing board……….

My cat would love that triangle window.

What a cool space! I could very much enjoy running off to this place.

AMAZING looking home! I loooooooove the wood dining table!

Nice eclectic furnishing and AMAZING architectural features!

Wow, I am a HUGE fan. The look in the dining room / kitchen is pretty amazing and worth studying some more

Thank you. Le mix de contemporain et de vintage est superbe. Je retrouve un peu de chez moi ici!
