Stalking a Queen

A Queen Anne Federation home that is. Built c1906 this historic house is imposing with its high ornate plaster ceilings and dark original timber floors. Not trapped in a time warp though. No not at all. A stylish mix of contemporary elegance and period features. With impressive balconies with expansive views and a lush garden it’s a haven in inner city Sydney. A town home that is just as relevant now as it was in 1906. Link here while it lasts.

The post title led me to believe glitter, feather boas and the police would be involved.

Stunning house! Love the mix of old and new. I don't know how you find such beautiful homes on real estate sites. I am a regular stalker but feel even the most expensive homes are pretty dull and bland. Why don't they have a checkbox for amazing? 3 bed – check. Garage – check. AMAZING – check! ?

Take out all the staging rental furniture and it becomes less amazing.

When can I move in? This is my dream home. Look at all that period detail! Look at the viewof the park! Don't care if the furniture is rented; the house is beautiful and looks totally livable. I'd be happy tobuy it all. Oh and I'll have the art on the walls to, please.

Love, love, LOVE the light fixture above the dining table.

The original details are amazing – ceilings, fireplaces, doors and frames. I really love this house! And that garden…amazing!
Great find, thanks!
