Week of stalking 8

Boho glam with retro riffs. Eclectic, eccentric and just a little irreverent. Rockstar meets grand old dame in Sydney’s Bellevue Hill. Oh how I wish I could see the subject of today’s real estate stalking photographed for a magazine feature. Wide angles and unsympathetic lighting are killing these design diva digs. Hang buying the house. I’d be happy just shelling out for the chandeliers. Yum! Link here while it lasts.

I always remember Roger Hazard from "Sell this house" when he said that the person who is going to purchase a house is lazy and instead of thinking how their furniture will look in the new place they imagine themselves in the place with the sellers furniture, so if tastes differed, then it will be hard to sell the house. So leaving all the animal patterned stuff and the fugly chair next to the stairs aside , yep … If I could, I will purchase it.

I have just traced the path from garage to kitchen: up the little steps to the main entry, through the front door, through the hall, pitter patter – turn right at the dining room and put down your groceries. I hope it's an error in the plans!

To me this house says "ego!" and "pretention!" For one thing, this is Double Bay not Bellevue Hill, so why call it Bellevue Hill?

I don't know why I'm frothing about this. I hope its next life is as the comfortable family home it was built to be.

Very beautiful house but very ugly furniture! especially the purple sofa…

lin says:

All those dead animals creep me out.

jenny says:

Gee, these people really like walking, sitting on and looking at dead animals. What a design statement.

Boo hiss!

karen says:

I love this house, purple sofa and all, i wonder why those negative comments from others live and let live!
