Estee Stanley

You may recognize the first few photos from an issue of Lonny – one of the most memorable IMHO thanks to the designs of fashion stylist and interior designer Estee Stanley. Well known for her chic, effortless and eclectic style, she is a designer without a signature look as she can knock out any style her clients are after. I love her mostly neutral palettes with drama added through graphic artwork, bits of black, funky lighting and other cool accents.

It's a lovely vibe–luxe yet livable, stylized but "real". The silkscreens-as-art are a fun idea, (did someone strike dumpster-diving gold behind Warhol's old factory?), but can we finally relegate those framed vintage bus rolls to the cliché bin and be done with them?

That blue armchair blocking the way to the bathroom would have about five minutes to get itself gone, and then it goes out the window.
Very chic grande dam indeed! How in the *world* do you manage to gussy up a nursery into a venue for an afternoon salon?!
