An unassuming weatherboard house out front with a stylish surprise out back. Colour, fun, energy. A new life for an old home. Techné Architecture + Interior Design with Doherty Design Studio.

Jon Davies says:

A nice look. We are starting to see weatherboarding more and more in the UK as it is a good way of cladding an energy efficient building. At the moment this has tended to be a natural timber look rather than painted but it can only be a matter of time.

This home is beautifully balanced. Do you know if this is in Venice, CA? Sure looks like it!

Ombia says:

Amazing home. Is it an australian one? They usally have this specific window design.
Patio is so beautiful. And interior also, beuatiful furniture, lots of day light.
What does weatherboarding mean?
