Lucyna goes glam

Polish interior designer Lucyna Kołodziejska typically creates spaces that are modern and graphic (we have featured her work several times), but this time she has gone in a completely different direction. This apartment is about about class and glamour. Lots of silver and mirrored shine makes this space sparkle, and all of the black is grounding and oh so hot. This might be my favourite creation of Lucyna’s yet.

P.S. I have to say that I am still reeling from the terrifying events that occurred here in Ottawa yesterday, just a couple of blocks from where I was working. My thoughts go out to everyone affected, especially those who knew Cpl. Nathan Cirillo who was shot and killed while guarding the War Memorial. Stupid and senseless.

Yes. Black is the focal color, but accented to not be overpowering.

As neighbors to the south, the border doesn't doesn't stop us from being saddened and disturbed by the awful events in Ottawa and Quebec. Our thoughts are with you.

Oregonbird says:

Love the built-ins. Extreme dedication to a viewpoint, that's what this is!

Vicky says:

Fantastic!!! What is the paint color in the hallway?

Jiji says:

Can you tell me where the end table/coffee table come from? They will go fabulously in our living room! Thank you!

Rita says:

Beautiful and inspiring . Looking for exactly this great sofa. Could you give me the name and manufacture.

KiM says:

Sorry Rita I do not know the source of the sofa
