The owners of this Cottesloe, Western Australia house wanted colonial plantation style. Part Raffles in Cambodia, part safari lodge in Africa mixed with the Queenslander vernacular and a touch of Hamptons. Architectural and building firm Humphrey Homes created this bespoke home with emphasis on relaxed family living without sacrificing style. Wide verandahs and French doors are perfect for the Australian climate.

There's lots I LOVE about this place. Those dark floors…..oh my. But I do not get that first bedroom, especially that bed. WHY???? And in the second bedroom, a small nit-pick, why on earth after all that expense would you hang an Ikea pendant?
