A luxurious apartment in Central Park West

If you are going to live in a 1930’s high-rise in New York City, the only way to go is GLAM GLAM GLAM! This apartment on the 33rd floor of Robert A.M. Stern’s 15 Central Park West is owned by a luxury bag designer, so no doubt interior design firm The Archers had to go luxurious with it. Drop dead gorgeous wallpapers by Gracie and Fornasetti adorn many walls, and the Gracie paper in the dining room is EVERYTHING – especially with the yellow curtains to play up the bold colour. The bedrooms are a playful mix of light/art deco and dark/gothic and I am totally smitten with each one. (This would make the best Airbnb!)

Jared Hayden says:

15 CPW was completed in 2008. While it does pay architectural tribute to some of its stately deco neighbors to the north, it's def post-modern (or pastiche if you prefer) to the core.

Is no one but me going to comment on what looks like a crocodile hide pinned to the ceiling of the living room? I'm trying to understand it but when I look at the rest of the room, I just don't get it. There are some other amazing details though. LOVE the blue glass piece by the window

Jenny says:

Coco: I'm not loving that piece either. But I totally agree on that blue vase! And the piece of furniture in the bedroom with YOU on top of it is to die for, as is the padded headboard in the final photo.
