More from Sisällä

A new barn-like extension to this Melbourne family home sees the new sit sympathetically with the old. Light and bright with a Scandi influence, the new spaces are made richer by the use of a statement blue. How cute is that little nook? I can see the kids jostling to claim ownership. Working on a Sunday

If you are stuck in the office today, my heart hurts for you as the last days of summer approaches and I plan on spending just about the entire long weekend outdoors and soak it all up. But maybe it wouldn’t hurt so much if the office looked like this. The designers from mode:lina have faced a challenge of planning an interior project for Norwegian company Opera Software, creator of the popular web browser. The company headquarters are located in two prestigious town houses in the heart of Wroclaw – one from the beginning of the XIX century and the second from 1913. All of this started with one e-mail titled “We want the best office in the world!”.

Working on a Saturday

I know I complain about having to trudge into the office on a weekend but honestly if I worked in the über stylish headquarters of Sydney interior designer Greg Natale I’d be complaining about having to go home, not having to come in. Glamorous to the max!

Feminine and glamorous in Stockholm

Posted on Fri, 2 Sep 2016 by KiM

Every once in a while a Swedish home blows me away with some not-so-Swedish decor. This being one of them. I found this property on Lagerlings, and it is all about feminine glamour. Some velvet, a mirrored console, rugs with leopard and zebra prints, glossy black doors, pale pink walls, brass accents, marble….it is one really beautiful thing after another. I am not sure how much my husband would be into this home but I would LOVE to live here.

Kitchens by Calla McNamara

I wanted to share some more of Calla McNamara‘s work, more specifically her kitchens. Bright and light, whitest of white with marble and stainless steel. A beautiful balance of form and function.
