MX house by Guilherme Torres

Posted on Tue, 31 Jan 2017 by KiM

It has been a few years since we shared some work by São Paulo, Brasil-based interior designer Guilherme Torres. The MX House he designed in 2015 is typical of his style – funky, modern, colourful, and a ton of fun. That tufted massive leather sofa is killing me right now. *SWOON*

Still kitchen crushing

Can you tell I’m just about to start my kitchen renovation? That the only things on my mind at the moment are kitchens, kitchens, kitchens? I’d love to scrap my plans and start all over again now that I’ve seen this moody beauty by New York-based interior designer Monique Gibson. You can see more of the East Village Atelier here.

William T. Georgis and statement art

William T. Georgis creates extra special spaces with bold art statements. Some examples were in my last post but these ones I am partial to.

William T. Georgis is an architect and interior designer from New York whose style is very much high-class with some wacky, bold accents such as massive graphic wall art, some very bizarre sculptural art, the most beautiful curved sectional I think I have ever seen, and “bullet glass” in a bathroom. Statement spaces that are innovative and far from trendy.
