These are gorgeous. So many have some clever detail that elevates them without going overboard.
I'm going to post on Friday a before/after of a kitchen renovation: built in the early 1600s (1624 or earlier), last renovated in the 1970s, redone in what we hope is a timeless, traditional style that respects the bones but is practical for cooking.
